Congratulations to the Flushing Winterguard for placing 4th in the Michigan Color Guard Circuit State Finals on April 5, 2008.
About the 2008 Winterguard Season
The Flushing Winterguard competed in it's 12th consecutive season of State and WGI competitions. The 2008 roster included 20 guard members with an anti-smoking show design. The staff included Ivan Manning, Brian Liwak, Jeff Wilkinson, Dave Watt, Annalee Wood, Melanie Schott and Greg Reblin. Since 1997, the guard has placed in the top two within their class with four State Championships. The 2008 season ended April 10th, after placing 4th in Michigan State MCGC competition and competing in prelims at the Winterguard International (WGI) World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
The members of the 2008 Season would like to thank their families and supporters for their help during the season.
